Circle Lens Review

So with all the chaos from my doggie going missing and I finally finding her I can now post about my exciting shipment this Tuesday. Tuesday I received my first pair of circle lens. I like to follow Emilia Anttonen aka Pastel Bat's blog http://carousel-dreams.blogspot.com/and I love her style. (Seriously if I credit her wrong it's because I'm new to blogging and how that add thingy works. Also if she gets offended that I credited her then, I'M SO SORRY!) Anyways I saw that she orders from circlelens2u so I thought I'd give it a try. http://circlelens2u.com/ I ordered the IMax blackberry blue 17m enlargement and 15 mm diameter.
You can find them here:IMax Blackberry Blue

So I put the order in on March 15 and received them Tuesday March 26 which shipping time wasn't to long for something coming from Koran.

Here's what the packaging looked like:

I went out and bought eye solution at Kroger for like 3 dollars and let them soak for 24 hours. So Weds I got home from work and was excited to try them on. I originally videotaped my first attempt with contacts but it was a disaster because I got easily irritated and my bf was being pushy about how I should do it. Unlike me he actually wears regular contacts on a daily bases. It took 10 minutes to get both contacts in. With my first time and me constantly dropping them and having to clean it then I think 10 minutes is reasonable time.

So rating time: five smileys = great!

Comfort:  I give the comfort a ☻☻☻☻☺
The comfort is incredible but I'm not use to contacts so my eyes have been a little watery and blurry at times. Hopefully that passes after getting use to them.
Color: I gave the color a ☻☻☻☻☻
I love the color. I read others review of circle lens and I knew the hole for the pupil would be a little big so I planned accordingly and got something that would mix well with my green eyes. So if you buy a pair keep in mind the hole for the pupil and iris or the center is bigger than the size of your pupil and iris so you'll real eye color will show.
Packaging: I gave packaging a ☻☻☻☻☺
The Packaging as seen above was plain but I loved the Dollis. I guess I was hoping for a package that pixies created. Like pink box and when you open it music plays and glitter shoots out. But my creative imagination gets the best of me every time.
Delivery: ☻☻☻☻☻
I still think the delivery time was quick.
Here's the final product:

Doggie Still Missing

I've been so down lately with this whole Zilla running away thing. I've been fearing that she was possibly sold on Craigslist and now I'm working with a State Trooper to track down the people who sold her. Everything has just gotten out of hand with this whole finding my dog thing. I love her and miss her,but to get the police into it when I don't even know if the Craigslist dog is mine or not is a little to much. I didn't even ask him to help he just decided to put in his authority to get us closer to finding Zilla. Can this week just get better and this whole situation just stop. I want my baby back. =(

Lost Doggie

This Weekend hasn't gone as planned. My bf finally came back from his trip to Big Bend National Park. Unfortunately our dog ran away this Saturday and we've been looking for her everywhere. Now instead of helping my theater group clean up our theater for our future performance we are now going to travel all over Huntington handing out flyers with our dog’s picture on it.

Hopefully I find my baby. I'll keep everyone posted on finding her. But I'm in a bad mood so I don't have much to write about today. Until next time my fellow monsters. Bye!

Moving Time!

So I'm moving out WOOT WOOT! I'm getting my first apartment BY MYSELF,but for the summer I will be living with my boyfriend until August so I can save up enough money to be set for two months.Which is the responsible thing to do..

Here's what I've come to find out with my experience of renting an apartment or house.

One thing is that every time you rent out a place its always a down deposit added to first month rent. I know that pretty basic but here's a little thing that I always seem to forget in the rush to move in. With paying DD and first month rent that means you don't have a lot of money left over. Which effects you cause then next month rent will be a little hard to come up with. So here's my personal advice always always trying to plan ahead when getting a place instead of rushing in so that way you don't get to behind on rent. Most people get paid every two weeks, while I personally get paid every week. So saving for next month rent is always a shitty thing to do mainly when you're fellow roommates don't keep their end of the bargain.Like you're probably wondering what I meant about when I said next months rent would be hard to get. Now this is where it gets educational: Okay so lets say you find a place you want to live in March but you want to move in on April, well Now you have to get  both the DD and first month rent in before you move in. So if rent is 500 a month then BAM you now have to get the land lord 1000 by April so you can start living there. Well I personally don't know how much you make but that's a lot to pull out of your butt at last minute. Now there are some awesome land lords who would let you pay 500 and what ever else you can put in and just pay the rest as you go. Which is awesome but that will put you back some when it comes to next months rent. So my advice is that when you want to move into your own apartment make sure you have a good month to collect your money or else you'll be sweating.

Second thing you need to keep in mind is that just because you have a roommate doesn't mean that the landlord is going to go to the other person when half the rent isn't paid. You will hear from him too and pointing finger games aren't fun either. Cause they just want their money and they don't care if your roommate sucks.

Third thing I  learned is that you need to make sure you can afford food and furniture when you first move in or else you will live the life of a poor college kid, unless you live in a furnished apartment. I never look into apartments that are furnished cause usually the furniture is ugly and the tenant before you probably had sex on it. My first apartment with my sister was freaking funny. We had no furniture and we basically slept on the floor and our entertainment was our lap tops and the DVD collection we owned. Our diet consist of ramen noodles and ravioli cause that stuff is cheap.Eventually we got furniture from an awesome customer at my job at the time so it even its self out,but the first two months sucked.

Fourth thing is living with a roommate can be tricky if you're not into the same style. I mean this by that decorating the apartment is going to be stressful. Everyone has an idea of how they want their place to look to reflect their personality but if you're roommate is a bright cheerful person and you're like me and have a love for dark monster stuff then the decorating is not going to go so well. My only suggesting is that you guys sit down and lay out how you guys wants everything and eventually come to an agreement on the decorations.

Fifth thing is packing up is a pain. I did learn from my recent move was that packing stuff sucks and it's always awesome to know a person with a pickup truck cause u hauls are expensive and tricky. I had enough boxes the last move that I could seriously react a episode of Out of the Box

I love buying stuff, like my monster high collection has became huge, but packing it all up I'm like.."WHY DO I HAVE ALL THIS JUNK!"

But that's all I can think of right now for my whole moving stuff and what to think about when it comes to getting an apartment or moving. I hope this helps and I'm sorry I rambled on for so long.

Well until next post BYE  my fellow monsters!

DHD is back!

My shadow cast theater group is back in action. We are having a whole line up planned for this year. I’m excited to start getting my costumes together for this year. Not only are we doing Rocky Horror Picture Show, but we're going to be doing Grease, Rent, Repo, and a bunch of other. I can't wait to know the schedule because I'm going to do an entry for every costume I have to put together. Well I'll keep you guys up to date when that comes, but this month is stressful. I have to move and getting packed  up sucks butt! But on a plus I get out of this stressful atmosphere with my sister.  I think living on my own is going to be a nice change. I can't wait to just rely on myself to get rent in time.
Well until next time later my fellow monsters.

Hair Color

In my last post I mention how I didn't like manic panic when it came to dying my hair crazy colors. I wanted to verify my reason (my own personal reasons) on why I really hate using manic panic. Hopefully you could agree with me, but if not that's perfectly fine too.

Reasons I don't use manic panic:

1. Its messy. Most of you reading this are like, "DUH IT'S MESSY, IT'S HAIR DYE!" Well I know but I mean its messy in a sense that when grabbing the goo out and put in on your hair it doesn't grab well and usually its a fight to keep it from falling to the floor or your face. I even tried using a hair dresser brush to apply the dye but it Favorited the brush more then my own strand of hair. Maybe its just me.

2. Cheetah Spots!Like I mention above about it not grabbing my strands of hair this becomes another problem because spreading the stuff to cover your whole head or just a couple of streaks is difficult cause it doesn't want to spread or stick. Everyone hates when after a dye they notice that their hair became a weird ugly cheetah print due to the dye not hitting certain spots. IT'S THE WORST!

3. Not Always what it seems! When I got the junk in my hair I make sure its an even amount applied. After the long wait under a shower cap and dryer..I personally will wait like 3 hours before washing it out. I know that's bad or frowned upon but I've always done it this way and my hair comes out bright and gets every strand an even shade of color. I hope in the shower and wash it all out until the water runs clear..which takes forever! Is it just mean or does anyone else have the same issue with any hair coloring product..like a basic hair color dye job I still take forever to that clear water the box speaks about. I get out of the shower and air dry my hair and BAM the color is crap. Seriously why isn't it cotton candy pink..did I do something wrong? The color is dull and not bright at all it's more like a pastel which is pretty but seriously not what I wanted.

4. Fades like a plushie in a car window for 5 years. Every hair color fades, I got that. But they don't fade with in a short period of time. And it's not just cause its pink cause I've personally did my hair in every color except orange in manic panic brand. Shampoo is like a destroy of hair color for anyone, that's why they make awesome shampoo that doesn't do that. Yeah that's right I was my hair with Sulfur Free products/color shield blah blah junk all the time and manic panic is the only one that fades stupidly quick with one wash. I even become like a nasty hobo or something and wait until my hair is to greasy to pass off with just a pony tail. But once I step in the shower and my hair hits the water I basically just stand there and watch the color wash down the drain..why the hell is the water still not clear?

Those are my reason. They are not that bad but definitely something that bothered me enough to leave manic panic alone. Keep note I have not tried the new amplified version that they sell at Hot Topic so that could be a lot better.

Now when I dye my hair funky colors I usually stick with these two brands:

Raw I got from Hot Topic and its my personal favorite cause you actually have more colors to choose from then Splat. I however do like that Manic Panic has a crap load of colors to choose from. Raw is good cause it clings to you hair nicely. I'm not sure if it has an oil in it but it sticks and doesn't move. Which helps out a lot cause no cheetah spots.  The color comes out nice too and it doesn't fade to quick. The teal how ever when I tried it came out more green but I did leave it on for to long. However I never had any other issues with the other colors.

Splat I get from Walmart and CVS. Now the colors are limited but this product has the best result, in my opinion of course. It's down fall is that it's super messy and if you don't let the water run clear when you washed it out after the process then it will bleed...EVERYWHERE! This color even shows up great on dark hair too.

So those are the two products I always use. I hope this helped out anyone and please don't hate on me cause I don't care so much for Manic Panic. My reasons could be stuipd but they are my view and I'm just sharing.

So tell me what your favorite hair color brand is to use? Either funky colors or regular! I'd love to hear.

 Till Later my fellow Monsters!

My twin sister will always be my best friend

Bad Hair Day

So I'm a personal hair dye addict and I went through a Ramona Flowers phase where every two weeks I would dye my hair a completely different color. I'm proud to say that I've been every color and I wore it amazingly. But just like anyone else who dyes their hair to much I completely killed my hair. I murdered it in cold bottle bleach. So I solved the problem of mash potato hair (it’s when your hair is so fragile and stringy looking that with a slight touch it falls out) and chopped it all off to a cute pixie cut. It was such a relief to be free of that, but I still was going through a coloring epic. While I occupied my cute pixie cut I was a blonde, blonde with pink tips, burgundy, red, dark brown, hazel chestnut brown, so needless to say I killed my hair again. Not so badly this time but it was fried. It was a drug to be able to change my hair when ever but I was damaging my hair every time. So I needed an intervention and had my mother keep my money so I could buy a box of hair dye. That worked for awhile except now I had to deal with my hair growing out. UGH! Nothing is worst then the horribly long wait for your hair to grow. Like I get it! If you chop your hair off of course it’s going to take forever to grow back, but why the hell do we have to go through the many stages of ugly hair? Seriously at one point I swear I had a hair length that could have been confused as a mullet....so guess who wore piggy tails until the phase grew out, THIS GIRL! So I’m a natural dirty blonde and it’s an ugly shit blonde. Most of the times when I say that I’m a dirty blonde people imagine a blonde with some darker highlights...NO! I mean I was a brunette with blonde streaks or highlights or whatever you would call it. Which means my hair color was a dull ugly blonde that looked like dog shit. So with my hair growing in horrible mullet style lengths it also means that my true hair color was peeking its ugly face around the corner. So temptation was growing strong to buy a box of hair dye and hide that bastard hair color (sorry for the language).Any ways I eventually got a good length and kept my hair color dyed a dark brown so my roots wouldn’t be an issue. I eventually achieved should length hair and I was so happy cause my hair was back and looked so much better. Well then I celebrated in the worst way possible by dying my hair hot pink. Now how I convinced myself to do so I’ll never fully grasp that, but I think it went this way: “If I stick with just touching up one color then I should be fine.” “Yes that should work.” “Hello pink hair dye!” Just so you know I don’t use manic panic cause in my personal opinion it just downright sucks. Any how I was hot pink for like two years and my hair didn’t grow much cause it kept breaking off. I don’t know how I forgot that pink hair dye is a horrible mess that is hard to keep up with because it fades quickly and looks like poop when faded but I did so dying my hair was like an every 4 weeks thing or 5 depending on what shampoo I used. So I think I eventually gave up on pink and went to a copper red. LOVE THIS COLOR! It’s the one color I will always go back to and I can pull it off with all the different red hair colors. Well when I reached this hair color I decided to start taking better care of my hair. Well I don’t know if you guys use a site called Pinterest, but I do! Love the site because I’ve found a bunch of recipes and tricks to improve your hair. It totally works I’ve increased my hair shine, splinted ends, softness, brighten and cleaned my roots, and also managed to increase the growth in my hair. So I think a couple of my entries will be some of the recipes that worked for me and maybe if I can locate them all....a complete photo list of all the hair colors I did.
Well thanks for reading my stupidity during my youth with hair dye...not sure where I wanted to go with this, but it’s too long to continue anything else. So until next time! Thanks for following my fellow monsters.

So I'm a twin and I actually live with her at the moment. It's a pain in my ass. Living with her has caused so much stress in my life that it’s retarded. You all wonder how living with my sister would be a pain, well...we're in this position where I make more money than her and rent becomes a bag of tag. In fact it's such a great game of TAG that I'm always it. If any of you guys share an apartment with a roommate you probably understand my issues. So here’s a list I've constructed that I personally believe are reasons having a roommate blow ass hole.

1. I have personal peeve when it comes to a clean kitchen. I love my place to be clean and organized. Well that doesn't always happen when you are sharing a place with a roommate. Dirty Dishes!

2. This kind of goes with the first one, but my sister loves to leave her shit everywhere! Ugh!

3. Food sharing is never fun and you can't mark your food because you know that’s not going to keep them at bay from helping themselves to your food.

4. Inviting the friends that I actually do have is always a battle. Its sad when you have to basically ask permission to invite your friends to your own place.

5. When you do get permission you then have to deal with not upsetting your roommate by not being to loud or whether your actions will affect them.

6. When your roommate invites their boyfriend or girlfriend over is always an issue when you start hearing moans.

7. The TV in the living room is always a wrestling match over what you guys should watch. Thank Jesus Magic Baby that we like the same stuff.

8. I always have to stress out about whether or not the rent will be made in time. Roommate: "I don't think I'll be able to afford rent this time. Me: "Seriously, am I made of money?"

9. Borrowing your junk without asking. Especially bad with my sister since were twins. I have a different style then my sister and she’s always borrowing my clothes without asking cause apparently in her words, “You have better clothes then I do."

10. Practicing for a show is always a bitch. Nobody likes hearing the same part of a movie over and over again. Basically Rocky Horror is now her least favorite movie due to me always practicing.
Guess which one I am!

Well I feel better now that I got to rant over my stress about living with my sister.Hope you enjoied!
Later my fellow Monsters!

First Day in my new Life.

I'm new to this blogging thing so I hope you guys enjoy this page thingy.
