Sunday Night of Bowling

I usually spend my Sunday Night's watching TV or napping, but this Sunday Mikey's friends invited us out for a night of bowling. I'll usually say no because I'm not a fan of going out or going somewhere that isn't close to our home....seriously might be getting a case of agoraphobia.

Well I embrace the night and after a quick work out at the gym I was scanning through my closet for the perfect bowling outfit. After five outfit changes I found one that was simple and appropriate for bowling.

I wore jeans!!! The terror! I've sworn off pants and some how found myself in them, because my dresses and skirts weren't working for bowling positions. I honestly couldn't even rock some cute shorts with tights because I couldn't find the perfect top to accompany them, not to mention the weather got worst at the end of the night so thankfully I wore covering clothes.

We had to drive all the way to Nitro for this event and that's not to far, but it was a relaxing drive and I have a tendency to fall asleep on trips to Charleston.
I love bowling and I think that's why I decided to go all the way up there to hang with complete strangers. I'm shocked how adventures I was that night.

The bowling alley was cute and classic. There was a bunch of families there and the expense was cheap compared to our home bowling alley.

I'm a big fan of bowling alley food so I couldn't resist breaking my eating habits by eating a hot dog and drinking beer past 8pm.

Look how tiny my shoes are compared to my boyfriend's giant pair of bowlers. It's funny how tiny women's body parts are compared to men's.

I had to roll up my skinnys to get the 50s feel with my bowlers.  Love my stick legs...they are like chicken legs like my mother always says.
Here's the strangers I ended up meeting and no I don't remember their names nor did I really care. They were sweet and very kind to me, but I have the worst anxiety when it comes to new people in a new surroundings.

Me and my boyfriend, it's surprising how lovey one's boyfriend can be once other males are present. Like either seeing other couples got him very predatory or maybe the drinking. I love the affection though. =)

I had the worst time getting dress and ready for this night. I felt so plain and ordinary with my outcome outfit. Even adding my pearl cat ears kinda didn't feel right. I wanted to be bold and loud, but couldn't find a way to pair it with jeans. =(

But at the end of the night I ended up having two beers and one mike's hard lemonade and a hot dog. My bowling was actually pretty good that evening and I managed to score higher than the other girls.

Let me note my drinking habits, I never really drink anymore and my tolerance has gone to poo. I used to drink like crazy and than I realized it was a shelter to my depression or a gateway from my issues so I nipped it in the bud.

I also personally hate when people tell you not to post or talk to much about drinking on your public forms, in case fellow employers are scanning through your stuff. I understand that there are some stuff that people should not post, but I feel like if your drinking isn't to bad and there isn't a alcohol beverage in every photo than you should be fine. Everyone drinks and as long as your being responsible with it, than you shouldn't be counted against by future employers.

With that said, I did get a little buzz and we ended up stopping at a fast food establishment on our track back to Huntington.

I really hate breaking my eating habits by eating such harsh food after 8pm, but that food was needed to soak up my drinks.

We ended up getting Checkers because I've never eaten it before. And then it started to snow!

The weather got really poopey on our way home and I was more than happy when we safely arrived to the comfort of our apartment.

It was a nice evening out and I'm glad I did it, but I love my home to much to leave it again.

Well hope you fellow monster enjoined my adventure. If anyone has the perfect bowling outfit let me know in the comments or email me, I really love to know for next time I go bowling.

Until next time my fellow monsters!! BYES!

Disney on ICE!!!

So last weekend I mentioned in recent post that me and my sister went to see Disney on ICE!!
It was my first time to see the event, but sister has seen it three times before with her friend Becca.

I hate Becca, she reminds me of Keisha and I feel like she's a bad influence on my sister. (Mostly because she took Brittany to Disney World first)

But here are some photos that we took while we were there:
Sorry for the video quality, video taping while people skate on ice is hard because the light reflects off the ice so badly.

My sister got us tickets and she snagged amazing seats!!

Me and my sister at our nice seats! I did her hair and I got myself this awesome mickey mouse ear crown.

Here's just a few photos of the 100 that we took while we were watching.

I also bought a lot of merchandise for my sister

This was a really good photo we got taken together by a cut out of the frog princess Tinna (I think that's how you spell it)

The tinker bell and Royal Mickey Cup were filled with snow cones and the Yellow long Mickey cup was full of lemonade  and the on Ice shot glass was full of  dots ice cream.

Disney on Ice was such a magical experience, but the down side is the smell of dirty diapers and the scream of children over the sound of the characters. The next time we go we'll totally try to go later and hit up the mall before. I was so excited to hang with my sister and it was nice to see the show with her. I got all teary eye when Bell came on to the ice, although her part was very small compared to Ariel and Aurora.

If Disney on Ice is performing near you deff go see the show, you'll regret it if you miss it. Hope you enjoined my post. Until next time my fellow monsters! BYES!

Mountain Stage

So last weekend I went with Mikey's family to see Mountain Stage.  We first met up and went to Black Sheep to eat and drink before the show because apparently there wasn't anything thing offered at the show. Here's some photos of our adventure to my first Mountain Stage viewing.

At Black Sheep me and Mikey's mom decided to create animals from the foil from the burritos everyone ordered.

I made a little bat, a black sheep and helped with the snail. I even gave the restaurant my black sheep to put behind their bar so everyone can view it. I took home the wolf but unfortunately my baby monster Zilla decided to chew it to pieces.

The place at the capital where the Mountain Stage was being performed at was super nice...like look how fancy it looked.

The place where we sat and listened to the music that was offered was not at all what I was expecting. I thought we'd go to a bar like atmosphere where we'd sit around a bar tables in stools, but no it was like a school play performance. We sat in an auditorium and sat quietly in the dark and watched like eager parents scan for our young to appear on stage...it was boring!! Like it was super neat to experience something like this, but I wasn't expecting this at all. I however really enjoined the music, it was very hip and indie.
You can listen to their radio show or podcast at

www.mountainstage.com or you can watch a video on their youtube channel. like:

Until next time my fellow monsters! BYE!!!

Girls day Out

So this weekend, 2/15/14, me and my sister attended Disney on Ice in Charleston.  We decided to do a whole girls days for the special occasions and even spent the night together. We rarely go up to Charleston and when we do we never get enough time to visit their mall, so this trip we made time for some shopping. We visit around the shops and basically hit the usual girlie shops. I personally have a credit card for American Eagle and Aeries, so we of course had to visit there. Big Mistake. Here's what we got:

Here's what I got for my sister. Her boyfriend recent made a comment about how she always has the same color bra, so we had to change that for her.
The Orange bra with rose print and matching panties was our original goal when visiting the store, but of course we couldn't control our urge for more. The red panties were actually free with our purchase and I let my sister have it because I'm not fond of thongs. Dental floss in between my cheeks is uncomfortable esp. since I where dress and skirts a lot.

She was in love with these pants, and you can see why. The design is fun and pockets are always a plus. It reminds us of Jasmine from Aladdin and they were silky.

I got myself two new bras, a bralette and a sports. I've became recently obsessed with the comfort of bralettes. I also got me a pair of those silky pants, but in pink and got a long sleeve for half it's sale price. Savings!!
Of course we had to visit the Hot Topic there. Although it's not as cool as when the stores first came into my state, I still enjoy their recent Disney merc.

In May me and my sister will be going to Disney World. Our love for Disney is just like any other person who's young at heart. It's hard to pick your favorite, but my sister's is deff Ariel and I like Alice in Wonderland stuff, so I got this cute purse and necklace.

If you can't really see it, but it's a necklace with a pearl, shell, fork, and a charm that says part of your world. My sister was eyeing it and we even went back again to pick it up before we left Charleston.

Now I have been looking for cross body purses and I delighted to see this baby. I love cross body because it's so useful. Like you don't have to hold it or worry about having to put it down.

I love Alice in Wonderland, hell I even have a tattoo, but of the originally art work from the book, However I don't really like Disney's Alice in Wonderland Movie. I love the colors but thought it was rather boring as a child and till today I use it as a remedy for sleep.

I also bought me and my sister new sleepers was American Eagle. They were super cheap and I love soft things, so had to snatch them up.
After our shopping we enjoined some Panera Bread and eventually made our trek home. The Charleston Mall has more shops than Huntington, but all their shops are smaller and have less items than the shops at Huntington.  It was still fun to wonder around and spend time with my sister. I esp. love spoiling her with gifts. We had a blast at Disney on Ice and took a lot of photos, Iĺl be making a post about it soon. We spent the rest of the night watching season 6 of our favorite show Big Bang Theory. It took us forever to finally get this season and it was awesome to watch the characters again. Unfortunately through the night I ended up getting sick from all the eating I did that day, I personally think it was the big bag of cotton candy I swallowed whole.

I hope you fellow monster enjoined my post and sorry it took this long for anything interesting to happen. My weekend was eventful so Iĺl be posting about my Disney On Ice experience and then my Mountain Stage. Well until next time, BYES!! AND HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!
