Sunday funday

ULast Sunday, after my Saturday night performance of Rocky, we went up to Charleston for a day to hang with my friends and enjoy an evening of music at another mountain stage performance.

Unfortunately we didn't get to hang with one friend, but me and my friend Barbie still had a good time. I got to meet her new boyfriend and we went shopping. 

I bought a few new items:

A much needed black skater skirt from Charolette Russe

A pair of holey grey knee highs, for a $1 at charolette Russe

A pair if stripped tights, which make me look like a tiger, from Charolette Russe. Also a $1!

A cute skelliton cuff from HotTopic

 

And my new best friend necklace with Barbie! She got one too! We got it from Hot Topic.

Got this rad top from PAC Sun, it's from the Kendle and Klye line and the sales rack for $6

We had such a great time leaving the guys in our dust as we discussed our plans for the following weekend. 

The poor thing kept setting off alarm systems, we eventually found out it was due to this meds.

It really made my day to hang out with such an awesome friend, I just wish our Princess Pat could of made it.

After shopping me and my boyfriend met up with his parents at Black Sheep for our regular Mountain Stage pre ritual. 

Than off to Mountain Stage for another night full of interesting music.

It was fun and there was a group of blind men singers!

We left the show and head to a hole in the wall called:

There for one drink and left! It was so gross and smelt like a gym locker room!

It was a great day with an interesting ending.

Let's do the time Warp AGAIN!!!

Last Saturday March the 22nd my theater group Downhome Decadence had the chance to put on our fishnets and do the time warp again. It was out theater daddy's birthday and he got our favorite bar, club deception to allow us to do our show. The night was fun and here's the photos to prove it 

We started practice at 12, which included set up. 

Then the weds before the show we actually did celebrate Davey's birthday.

Then back to Saturday night's performance . It was a crowded and my uncle and family friends actually showed up.

I have never had a friend or family member come and stay through the whole performance if my show. So needless to say I almost ruined my makeup with tears.

We practiced forever to get this kick line beautiful!  ( note these are all boys except for me, the second from the left)

This is my eddy and we actually went vertical during our swing dance, so vertical that I actually almost went over the over side. Hahaha he corrected me though. 

We always have two cola, two Rif, two Eddies, and two brad and Janet's. Here is our second Columbia.

Here's my theater family! We had an amazing performance and will be performing again soon!

P.s a drag queen informed me that using a glue stick in both directions on your brows will keep them down.

So I ordered another dress from Bonne Chance Collection and I'm super excited that it's came in.

This is the dress I order and have been obsessing over since I first came upon Bonne Chance Collection's website.

This dress fit so nicely and the material was perfect and thick.

This was my free dress and I was pretty impressed with it. They are always amazing at picking out the perfect style for you, I guess it's cause all of their dresses are pretty much amazing.

My over all experience with Bonne purchase was amazing like always. Both dress were made from good  material and fit perfectly.  I can't wait to order from them again.

Winter will eventually pass and I'll be able to rock these with out a jacket to cover up their beauty.

So one of my best friends just started her own blog. She's an amazing person and writer. Below is an example of her work about our weekend together. We wanted to get all cute and have an amazing night, just like old times. We don't see each other often, because we live in three different city's now, but we all still love each other :) We did have an amazing, eventful, fun filled night. But it wasn't like old times. When you go through hard times, or when you make changes in your life, you are essentially changing who you are and who you are to become. With us, we have all grown in our personal, education, and work lives. We aren't the same girls that we were 4 years ago, 18 and completely crazy. We're all 21 now, and we are so much wiser than we were and we realize that we don't have to get completely crazy to have fun. Yes, we still know how to have fun, but fun that we all remember and laugh about the next day. That is the beauty of true friendship. Being able to transition from child, to young adult together, and not loose the essence of your friendship, is rare and beautiful.
