Sunday Night of Bowling

I usually spend my Sunday Night's watching TV or napping, but this Sunday Mikey's friends invited us out for a night of bowling. I'll usually say no because I'm not a fan of going out or going somewhere that isn't close to our home....seriously might be getting a case of agoraphobia.

Well I embrace the night and after a quick work out at the gym I was scanning through my closet for the perfect bowling outfit. After five outfit changes I found one that was simple and appropriate for bowling.

I wore jeans!!! The terror! I've sworn off pants and some how found myself in them, because my dresses and skirts weren't working for bowling positions. I honestly couldn't even rock some cute shorts with tights because I couldn't find the perfect top to accompany them, not to mention the weather got worst at the end of the night so thankfully I wore covering clothes.

We had to drive all the way to Nitro for this event and that's not to far, but it was a relaxing drive and I have a tendency to fall asleep on trips to Charleston.
I love bowling and I think that's why I decided to go all the way up there to hang with complete strangers. I'm shocked how adventures I was that night.

The bowling alley was cute and classic. There was a bunch of families there and the expense was cheap compared to our home bowling alley.

I'm a big fan of bowling alley food so I couldn't resist breaking my eating habits by eating a hot dog and drinking beer past 8pm.

Look how tiny my shoes are compared to my boyfriend's giant pair of bowlers. It's funny how tiny women's body parts are compared to men's.

I had to roll up my skinnys to get the 50s feel with my bowlers.  Love my stick legs...they are like chicken legs like my mother always says.
Here's the strangers I ended up meeting and no I don't remember their names nor did I really care. They were sweet and very kind to me, but I have the worst anxiety when it comes to new people in a new surroundings.

Me and my boyfriend, it's surprising how lovey one's boyfriend can be once other males are present. Like either seeing other couples got him very predatory or maybe the drinking. I love the affection though. =)

I had the worst time getting dress and ready for this night. I felt so plain and ordinary with my outcome outfit. Even adding my pearl cat ears kinda didn't feel right. I wanted to be bold and loud, but couldn't find a way to pair it with jeans. =(

But at the end of the night I ended up having two beers and one mike's hard lemonade and a hot dog. My bowling was actually pretty good that evening and I managed to score higher than the other girls.

Let me note my drinking habits, I never really drink anymore and my tolerance has gone to poo. I used to drink like crazy and than I realized it was a shelter to my depression or a gateway from my issues so I nipped it in the bud.

I also personally hate when people tell you not to post or talk to much about drinking on your public forms, in case fellow employers are scanning through your stuff. I understand that there are some stuff that people should not post, but I feel like if your drinking isn't to bad and there isn't a alcohol beverage in every photo than you should be fine. Everyone drinks and as long as your being responsible with it, than you shouldn't be counted against by future employers.

With that said, I did get a little buzz and we ended up stopping at a fast food establishment on our track back to Huntington.

I really hate breaking my eating habits by eating such harsh food after 8pm, but that food was needed to soak up my drinks.

We ended up getting Checkers because I've never eaten it before. And then it started to snow!

The weather got really poopey on our way home and I was more than happy when we safely arrived to the comfort of our apartment.

It was a nice evening out and I'm glad I did it, but I love my home to much to leave it again.

Well hope you fellow monster enjoined my adventure. If anyone has the perfect bowling outfit let me know in the comments or email me, I really love to know for next time I go bowling.

Until next time my fellow monsters!! BYES!
