It has been a long week and I'm glad everything is finally getting back to normal. Mikey's grandfather passed away Monday 1/27/14. It was tough on him and his family and I felt as his girlfriend that I had to be there to comfort him during this hardship. It was so heart breaking that I couldn't handle it emotionally and needed up crying more than he did.
The service was on Thursday and that Wednesday I decided to take my mind off the matter and take my sister out for dinner. We went to eat at our favorite pub, the Jug and Kilt and before hand we step into a new store that opened up a few store down. American graffiti was the name and it sold ink addict merchandise and bongs and stuff like that. I'm not fond of weed or tobacco pipe related items because that just doesn't appeal to me, but at the back of the store they had a small tattoo parlor. Well we purchase two ink addict sweaters and left to go to the pub for some drinks. So while drinking I asked her how crazy she wanted to get tonight, because Mikey was at a family dinner.
Ending the story we ended up getting finger tattoos. I've always wanted more tattoos and recently I've been craving something on my hands. So we jumped into the car and went to the tattoo parlor by my moms in hopes of getting them done. They weren't able to do it that night, but they said we could do it Saturday. I was so disappointed and not only because of the wait, but also because my design wasn't something they wanted to do...they seriously was like nah I'm not going to do that. It was my idea and instead of working with me to come up with a design that would work better, they just said nope. I hate when tattoo artist are picking when it comes to designs or projects that a customer request. Maybe because I'm not a tattoo artist myself is why I don't understand it. So we left the parlor in hopes of finding another place that would do it tonight. We went back to the American Graffiti to check to see who the artist were. And behold it was actually someone I knew and kind of sort of used to hang with. Zillich is what he goes by and when I used to be friends and regular customer at a tattoo shop called Inkapuss, Zillich was a inter-tern there. Well he was more than happy to do it that night. He was all like yeah that would probably only take about five minutes for both of your tattoos and it was cheaper. He only charged us $70 for both my sister's and mines fingers tattoos. The other shop not only wouldn't do my design or do it that night, but also was wanting to charge $100 for both. Listen here fellow readers, the price in tattoos matter, the cheaper the tattoo that shitter it will look. But listen here for a simple design like a heart and star that is the size of a dime should not be that expensive.
So that night me and my sister got cool new finger tattoos.

Tattoos on fingers weren't very painful and was super quick. The healing process in the pain because you use your fingers for everything, but they are so pretty to not get them. My only suggestion if you decided to get them, make sure you have at least two days to not work, go to class, and pretty much just be lazy all day. Trust me it would be so helpful.
