This weekend I decided to meet up with two of my best friends, Brianna and Ciara, from Marshall and have a night out in Huntington. We wanted to get all cute and have an amazing night, just like old times.
We don't see each other often, because we live in three different city's now, but we all still love each other :) We did have an amazing, eventful, fun filled night. But it wasn't like old times.
When you go through hard times, or when you make changes in your life, you are essentially changing who you are and who you are to become. With us, we have all grown in our personal, education, and work lives. We aren't the same girls that we were 4 years ago, 18 and completely crazy.
We're all 21 now, and we are so much wiser than we were and we realize that we don't have to get completely crazy to have fun. Yes, we still know how to have fun, but fun that we all remember and laugh about the next day. That is the beauty of true friendship. Being able to transition from child, to young adult together, and not loose the essence of your friendship, is rare and beautiful.
