For the Skirt and Bra I took a white bra and skirt I had and using a fabric sharpie I individually drew every cheetah print...It was the most boring part ever. At one point I was pawning it off to my sister and friend. Literally watched three movies just doing part of skirt. In the end the finished product was lovely. But the tally of dead sharpie for this outfit was five black fabric sharpies and two regular sharpies.
I cheated with her green complex by buying a green suit from the Halloween store. Here is my friend trying it on for me because I was scared of it. For the scaled and spikes on her arms and legs I used foam and cut and hot glued it to the suit. I then painted it accordingly.
For the face underneath the mask I painted my face and neck green and purple. I also wore my circle contacts that I reviewed before on my blog and out lined my eyes with white eye liner. This is a photo of me after the con and once I took off the mask. Also to make my eyes bigger I made fake eye lids including fake eyelashes to glue on top of my real eye lids. It made my eyes look gremlin big, but it also made it hard on my contacts.
For the Wig: I bought a cheap green wig at the Halloween store and cut holes for the ears to fit through. The wig and ears are now stuck together for future wear.
The hands: I bought a pair of rubber dish gloves and painted them green and added fake nails shaped from Crayola magic model clay. (THIS IS THE ONE THING I WILL CHANGE IT THE FUTURE) Half way through the con I lost all my nails and my paint started peeling off the gloves. Next time I will use foam nail cutouts and after painting the gloves I will coat it in liquid latex to hold the paint together.
Shoes: I wore my black wedges, which killed my feet after awhile of walking around
Bra: Since I have little boobies and Greta the Gremlin seemed blessed with boobies...I had to wear four bras underneath my green suit to give my outside bra something to hold. (MY BOYFRIEND AND SISTER THOUGHT THIS WAS THE FUNNIEST THING)
Difficulties:
My gloves made it very hard for me to do anything. I could grab or hold a single item. It was horrible.
My mask also made it hard to see stuff on my sides.
My ears were so long that if I didn't turn or move a certain way then I was poking and stabbing people and stuff. This became an issue while taking photos with so many people.
Over all I was happy with my costume and got a lot of complements and had to take a lot of photos with people.
